Why Free Fire got banned in Bangladesh?

 Hello friends! As you know today's world is dependent on technology and it has made our lives easier. One of them are also called as online games. People take it as their career or keeping it as their hobby. 


You may have seen many people out there on YouTube becoming a succesful man by just playing games and earning money. Nowadays, the most played game or the famous game is called as "Free Fire". It was authorized as the Mobile game of the year 2020 because it gained 225 million downloads in three quarters of the year 2020.

A marked headline on the news has been gone too famous in Bangladesh that says "The most famous games like Free Fire and PUBG are getting banned". Recently High courts directs the government to take strict restrictions on the apps or online games which are affecting child's mental health.


The Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has issued an order for the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) to ban internet games like Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly called PUBG, and Garena Free Fire. We can say that it's a bad new for battle royale players but there is a way by some of them would try to play them when they are banned.

They can try to use a VPN to play Free Fire to continue their career.


I hope you understood why Free Fire got banned in Bangladesh and I request whoever reading this, Please don't Top-up because kids are sacrificing their lives who cannot afford to Top-up. A new case was also found some days ago where a kid of 13 years old hanged himself after spending ₹40000 in an online game.

If it didn't stopped so their will be a chance of 50% to get Free Fire banned in India. Mr. Narendra Modi also had shared a post on twitter saying if this continues then they will take a strict restriction on online games affecting child's mental health including Free Fire.
